Skeet
Skeet is a fast paced shotgun game where targets fly across your path from two towers, challenging you to improve your timing, focus, and consistency. It's a great choice for beginners, families, and experienced shooters looking to sharpen their skills. Skeet is easy to learn, fun to shoot, and surprisingly addictive once you start breaking targets. Grab a shotgun, step onto the field, and see how quickly you can find your rhythm. Trap
Trap is a classic shotgun sport where clay targets launch away from the shooter at different angles, testing your timing, focus, and consistency. At Coyote Valley, our wobble trap adds an extra challenge, with targets moving both horizontally and vertically for a more unpredictable flight path. 5-Stand
Think of 5 Stand as compact sporting clays with all the action packed into one exciting course. Shooters move through five positions, taking on singles and pairs launched from six or more machines for a total of 25 targets. Every station offers a different presentation, making each round fast paced, challenging, and a whole lot of fun.
Our 5 Stand is primarily reserved for instruction and warm ups before large group events and is not typically open for general public shooting. Want to give it a try? Book a private lesson or call the Pro Shop with a small group of friends to experience 5 Stand for yourself.
Skeet and trap run on tokens.
Different from the sporting clays course, our skeet and trap fields take physical tokens as compared to a card. Tokens can be bought at the Proshop, each giving you 25 targets.
